For generations, Tabriz rugs have become known for their diverse designs, from medallion, Herati/Mahi, to figural, pictorial, and even 3-d shaped rugs. Antique Tabriz rugs, with picture images, are very desirable and are of high quality. Tabriz rugs come in different sizes, and many different colors, mostly blue, red, black and cream/ivory. Tabriz carpet represents various kinds of art such as ornamental patterns, scenes of falconry or images of a ferocious lion and images of fragments of palaces and mosques, scenes of battles.

This is a genuine hand knotted cut pile rug, not tufted, hooked, or machine made. All we do is hand knotted.
